Who we are

Mesh Foundation is a not-for-profit Trust that was founded in with the sole intention of serving society and enhancing people's lives through compassion, care and empowerment. Our work centres around providing financial, social, and emotional support by way of adoption and care of patients suffering from Cancer, especially those at Tata Memorial Hospital.
Primarily, our work revolves around emergency funding and stop-gap support, which is a very crucial aspect for new admissions, continuing treatment, and for those not eligible for support from elsewhere. This is also an area where currently no other agencies are present to help. We are therefore, a crucial bridge for patients to get started with their treatment. The adoption program takes a holistic approach for need-based help covering medical treatment, distribution of ration, the education of patients' children, accomodation and their emotional well-being.
Additionally, we support the Annapurna Scheme of Nana Palkar Trust for providing free or subsidized daily food to residing outstation patients at their institution. We have also adopted elderly couples living alone in Mumbai and provide them regular monthly financial and ration and medical support. Given the huge requirement for aid in this area, we subsequently adopted an old-age home in Virar that houses over 70 senior citizens who have been abandoned by their families.
Driven purely by empathy, the members of Mesh Foundation wok hard and very devoted to this cause. Given our professional backgrounds, we try to bring our expertise and experience in running the trust smoothly and with full accountability.
